Looks like they still havent taken the picture of the huge idiot scratch off yet. There was a huge discussion about this company a year ago. The rep that is a member here tried to pass off a couple of lies to us about some of his pics. Parts had been changed in pictures and he said they were the same gun. I would steer clear personally. IMO, any new company that blatantly lies about their product on a 1911 addicts forum is not to be trusted.

Does the super grade series come with the cuff links shown in the pic?
    Lol
There slogan is awful close to HK's, or at least HK's old slogan, but those are some fine looking pistols in the pics. How do they look and feel in person?

All the guns seem to share other 1911 names also.

I believe it was the owner on here. We had mentioned that the picture of the supergrade had a huge idiot scratch on it and how we thought that was strange it was on their site. He responded with more pics on here saying it was just the lighting. After we all saw the pics, they obviously had been switching slide and various other parts in these pics. While he kept saying it was the same gun. Th slide was obviously changed, it had a different amount of rear serrations on the slide. Yet he maintained his position that it was the same gun.

So, do any of you have proof the guy lied?

Or is it easier to pass judgement from your anonymous key board and to feel self righteous about what you do?

I sent an email to them pointing out a grammar issue on their website, which was corrected shortly afterwards. The person who replied was genuinely appreciative of my correction and as I remember quite embarrassed by the forums observations to their sight and frustrated by their reaction to the company. I don't blame him for not returning.

So how many critics here contacted Robert's Defense directly?

You may now begin your character assassination of me, albeit from your keyboards.

See post number six, Robert's Defense post, read it.
See post number ten, see the Robert's Defense picture.
Since you clearly can not read and figure this out for yourself...........post ten shows an idiot
scratch refuting the statement that Roberts mapped about there not being a scratch. It gets
    worse from there on.

Now,.......I will caution you about this trolling, argumentative post. The insinuations you decided
to post are not welcome either. You may want to think about NOT doing that in the future.

Maybe I should not have written my reply before my morning coffee. I came on too strong.

The point I had intended was that after having read all the replies, from both the original thread and this one, I thought there was a rush to judgement and some group-thought piling on. My direct experience with the company was certainly more sincere that what was described by others.

With all the gun grabbers out there, our real enemy, it would sure be better for all of us to support others who share our common interest in the shooting sports and our 2nd Amendment rights instead of "eating our own". They look for anything that will justify their agenda. By taking a higher plain, we rise above such and stay the higher moral course. We can be critical without being destructive. We can be more civil, starting with me.

If you would like to know who I am, just ask me and I will be glad to introduce myself.
